 Fresh water fish

Bleak
The bleak, a pretty small fish

Implantation

The bleak is present everywhere in Europe except for Finland and of Norway, and in the south of Spain, Portugal and central Italy.

Lifestyle

This small fish likes the slow rivers and the still waters and moves of number. It should be noted that its presence indicates a water of good quality.
Towards the three years age, the bleak starts to reproduce. The males recognize themselves with their bridal buttons. The period of abrasion proceeds April at June when the temperature of water is with approximately 15°C.
The female deposits from 5.000 to 7.000 eggs, in several times, on a content of gravels or watery plants close to the banks.
Omnivore, the Bleak nourishes itself in river, mainly larvae of watery and air insects drifting on water.
To note possible hybridizations with , the Roach, and Bremen.

Fish

If it is current to say that the Bleak is fished on the surface, it is however not rare to rather find it between two water, to see even at the bottom. It is in particular the case in wintry time. They are found then in test rigs and close to the content.
Only a quite sunny day will make that the Bleak will go up towards surface.
At the time of a fishing party you will as pay great attention to the post as you will choose. Indeed the Bleak is very being wary especially when water is very clear. If it detects the least

movement, it will set out again in a place more making safe for it.
Once found the good post, and after your installation, the question of the priming arises. Remember of winters, the Bleak is rather at the bottom, the summer it goes up towards surface. Then the starter to be used is not the same one. Either you will have to put a work a starter which works on the surface, or you will choose a starter with heavy products such as clays or grounds of color. According to the depth of the blow you will have to compose a mixture which works with the desired depth.
The color of water must direct you towards the choice of the most effective color of the starter. Thus, and it is there a rule followed by many specialists in these fisheries, plus water is limpid plus the starter is brown and on the contrary more water is charged plus the starter must have a clear color.

A fine starter of surface will thus make the deal and you will be able more or less to cut it with a heavier starter, while paying attention to filter the unit to have an even granulometry. With or without oppressive product, the use of some pinches of little to support a fast start of your fisheries.

The bleak is fished with the blow with a line of 6/100 equipped with a hook of 24 (See 26). Leaded grouped to a few 10 cm of the hook allows a fast casting the depth of search. To employ the worms of vase or the small maggot (), and why not the bread crumb.
Not to forget that a blow must be maintained and thus that it is advisable to recall to each launched. With a pellet of starter of the size of a nut a more little tumble if the keys become slower, you will keep the Bleak on your blow.

Some like to sin it with the fly with a borer of 2,. They use a floating silk of 8, a bottom of line with fly 7X and a hook of 18 flanked of a dry or embedded fly.

A starter for the Bleak

1 volume “3000 Surfaces” - 1/2 volume “3000 Friture” - In winter and out of deep water - 2 volumes of Ground of Somme - In winter and a content of 1, - 1 volume of Ground of color or Fine sand - In summer, the fish is on the surface, therefore avoid the heavy products - Prepare your blow by throwing 5 balls cuts “tangerine” - Recall to each revival of your line with 1 ball of the size of a nut - If the keys become fewer, put to a little tumble in your pellets of recall… the Bleaks should return!
