The old commune is equipped with a squat body with large scales whose edges go from the green-yellow to chestnut. Its dominant colors are but generally located between the green and the brown one. The small mouth, located well in front of the eyes, is bordered of large lips. The common size of this fish is of about thirty centimetres.
